The Great Escape
The Great Escape is my favorite movie of all time, it stars Steve McQueen, James Garner and Richard Attenborough, it was made in 1963.
I like this movie because it is based on a true story, and the way they escape is ingeneous, its just an all round great film.

The cooler is solitary confinement for soldiers that have tried to escape or have disobeyed orders, Steve McQueen plays Captain Hilts, who is the mastermind behind the escape, his nickname is "Cooler King" because he is sent there so much.
